Under the direction of the Internal Asset Review (IAR) Supervisor, assist in analyzing operating statements and rent rolls in order to review the Bank?s loan portfolio for accuracy, quality and regulatory compliance; assist in preparing a variety of reports related the IAR function; enter a variety of information to update the IAR database, interact with staff members and borrowers in order to get information necessary to update IAR loan files. Assist in the development, administration and monitoring of programs that ensure the IAR department is in compliance with laws, regulations and rules applicable to the department.

Major Responsibilities
Perform individual loan reviews by analyzing and assessing information such as operating statements, profit and loss statements, rent rolls, property inspections, tax rolls and credit reports to ascertain quality of loan and assign risk grade.

Perform other asset quality related duties as necessary and defined by IAR supervisor.

Report to IAR supervisor any findings which may have an adverse affect on loan collateral or a borrower?s ability to repay the loan.

Assemble and organize documentation for IAR files and a variety of other documents and reports.

Track and generate reports involving documents such as inspections reports, financial information, debt-coverage ratios, and loans reviewed.

Initiate correspondence, receive telephone calls and converse with borrowers relating to financial information requested by the Bank.

Assist with preparation of compliance materials.

Perform a variety of duties requiring knowledge of department procedures.

Insure confidentiality by maintaining security of files, reports and information whether in written, electronic or verbal form.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Good oral and written communication skills and ability to interact with customers and staff members in a courteous and professional manner.

College coursework in accounting, finance, economics, business or related job experience is desired.

Working knowledge of computer programs, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Ability to evaluate personal and business financial statements as well as borrower credit reports.

High degree of accuracy.

Ability to handle diversified workload with changing priorities.
