Job Summary:
Reporting to the Quality Control Reviewer Team Lead, the Quality Control Reviewer is responsible for performing quality control review in support of the financial spread sheet process.
Major Responsibilities:
Quality Review (75%):
Reviews spread sheet of projections and financial statement spreadsheets for new and existing individual or businesses borrowers to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial spreads with Bank spread sheet policy. Review the spread and footnotes for accuracy and appropriate treatments. Engage resources and subject matter experts as necessary to clarify and/or confirm accounting to determine spread treatments. Reports discrepancies and errors to the Credit Analyst/Team Leader for correction and follows issues through resolution. May work as a back up support to the Credit Analyst to perform spread sheet function as needed.
Communication (25%):
Act as communication liaison with Business Unit and Credit Executive.
* Requires Bachelor's Degree, preferably with a business-related emphasis Accounting, Economics or Finance major preferred or equivalent working experience.
* Assumes fluency in Bank systems and processes from 2 years as a Credit Analyst or related experience
* Ability to multi task, prioritize and perform the workflow accurately, productively and efficiently.
* Requires good verbal, written, interpersonal skills as well as organization and time management skills.
* Knowledge of MS Office/Outlook/Word/Excel and Internet proficiency.
* Good working knowledge with Moody's Risk Analyst.
* Good interpersonal, analytical and reasoning skills.
* Demonstrated ability to understand and apply Financial Spread sheet rules consistent with Bank procedures.
* Ability to be work effectively within a team environment.
