Responsible for managing the implementation of assigned system projects. Applies specific knowledge of the business and knowledge of the systems technology capabilities to business problem solving. The primary objective is to meet the information needs of the business unit. Participates in the design, installation and maintenance of complex system projects. Responsible for development of business requirements. Develop solution to credit related business problems. Implement upgraded releases to systems. Manage project team and define roles for each team member. Maintain status on the progress of the project and report status to key individuals involved. Define and document user functional specification, ensuring that impacted areas have provided sign-off. Define and implement any user testing plans and schedules required. Develop and implement any user training plans as applicable. This may include designing/documenting training schedules, plans, content, materials and conducting classes. Manage to targeted implementation date, resolving conflicts, priorities and problems as they arise. Provide support services as designated by manager. This may include system maintenance (research problem, solve and test complex system related issues, managing monthly release process of work orders, or developing and managing documentation of the system related fields/policy information online for user access.) May also develop system related procedure/manuals, and provide system training. These responsibilities will involve directing the work of others as well as individual efforts. Represent the area on the Quality Assurance Committee. Responsible for contributing to issue awareness and resolution as defined.

This position may be located in San Diego, Los Angeles or Irvine depending on candidate location.
Position reports to the Vice President and Manager of Dept. No position formally reports to this position. Skills Required: Reading/comprehension, analytical skills, project management software skills. Typically 6 to 10 plus years of previous project management. Supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge Required: Comprehensive knowledge of applicable systems, reporting capability and user functionality of system. Working knowledge of general ledger interface accounting and lending. Comprehensive knowledge of internal company policies and procedures, the complex systems and projects, documentation and security, audit and regulatory requirements impacting the system.
