Job Summary:

Reporting to Corporate Banking SVP of FP&A, theFinancial Planning and Analysis Manageris responsible for coordinating forecasting and budgeting. Will develop and communicate financial reporting, and provide key analytics. Support the SVP in the Corporate Banking forecasting and budget planning cycles, and present to senior management team. May manage a small team of direct report Analysts. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, coaching, training, providing direction, and oversight of work; write and deliver annual performance evaluations.

Major Responsibilities:

(25%) Manage the financial forecast including balance sheet, capital, and income statement results. Maintain a close understanding of business risks and opportunities. Ensure key macroeconomic and internal pricing factors are incorporated in the forecast and support executive team with multiple scenario views and options. Support the SVP of FP&A in the Corporate Banking forecasting and budget planning cycles including business unit deliverables, consolidation process, and presentation to senior team.

(25%) Develop financial summaries, and analysis of business unit results. Initiate enhancements and quality improvements to ensure the process provides senior management with a tool to better understand the key financial and business metrics. Support the financial closing process including flash earnings estimates. Identify and coordinate management review meetings.

(20%) Construct ad-hoc financial analysis for key business initiatives.

(15%) Coordinate with central finance on key financial and business result updates to key stakeholders.

(10%) Coordinate Basel II ICAAP stress testing and results.

(5%) Build and sustain Corporate Banking M&A models.
* Extensive knowledge of forecasting and budget planning cycles.
* Strong skills in building informative professional reports and providing template structures for business units.
* Strong knowledge of Bank balance sheet and P&L structures.
* Possess excellent communication skills and comfort interfacing with all levels of management.
* Must be effective at summarizing financial information.
* BS / BA in Finance, Business or Accounting required; MBA, CFA, or CPA desired.
* 10 years of progressive finance experience with FP&A experience in large, complex banking or financial institutions.
* Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve complex financial issues.
* Demonstrated ability to oversee company-wide management reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
