Job Summary:

The Customer Service Associate provides a high level of quality customer service to all facets of their deposit banking relationships for Commercial/Corporate/Financial Institutions customers.  

Major Responsibilities include: analyzing selected data and making recommendations regarding exposure and possible risk to the Bank on new accounts, wire transfers, overdraft conditions and uncollected funds usage. JOB SUMMARY
Provides senior-level systems analysis and software support to the Business Units by ensuring all system testing and issues are identified, documented, and resolved within appropriate timeframes for key BI applications. Job Summary

Reporting to the SEVP Info and Operations Manager, Chief Enterprise Architect will lead the Enterprise Architecture function at Union Bank (UBEA). Responsible for defining the company's Enterprise Architecture through standard EA frameworks and methodologies. Manages four principle areas of Architecture that include Business Architecture, Data Architecture, Application Architecture, and Technical Architecture.

Major Responsibilities

The Chief Enterprise Architect will lead the Enterprise Architecture function at Union Bank (UBEA). In this role, the Chief Architect will help define the company's Enterprise Architecture through standard EA frameworks and methodologies. Qualifications Knowledge

Provides validation services for all production applications potentially affected by planned changes anywhere in the production environment, helping avoid incidents introduced due to change.

Manages the central responsibility for validation and monitoring during enterprise change initiatives, e.g. annual Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity validation. 

Is a member of the Change Board, to insure changes include any required update to monitoring or validation procedures, so as to not introduce risk of incidents in the production environments.

Provides leadership to staff, employees, and contractors for Centralized Production Support. Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience &amp; Education:

Strategic Vision
Define, create and implement the strategic Quality Assurance roadmap for the enterprise that includes short-term, midterm, and long-term plans and objectives. The roadmap should include an enterprise QA model that is designed to meet quality requirements, business requirements and objectives, and must be able to drive the plan to fruition.

Core Responsibilities
Responsible for determining appropriate processes, methodologies, techniques (including test tools and test automation) to apply to various testing application development projects. Contributes to the tactical and strategic planning for future quality programs. Oversees business line QA Managers, who monitor all testing activities throughout the life of a project. valuates and proposes staffing models that may include outsourced, contracted, offshore QA resources and tools.

Develops testing strategy, defines the test team, defines test requirements, and manages scope change impacts. Drives the resolution and communication of cross-application and organization quality issues. Manages, maintains and evolves controlled test environments for various phases of testing, with corresponding entry and exit criteria. Manages . development of a integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business objectives. Recognized expert internally and externally for QA delivery. Provides strategic direction and stays current with quality and process-related industry standards.

Displays working knowledge and qualification in company's standard processes and one or more best practice quality approaches (e.g., CMMI, ISO, Six Sigma, total quality measurement). Exhibits in-depth knowledge and use of process improvement and quality management methods, tools, and technology used to create and support defect-free, application software, or business operations processes for which the quality program will be focused.

Quality Reporting: Develops management metrics and reports testing progress, defect identification, and defect resolution statuses to project leadership and senior management.

Systems Development Life Cycle: Demonstrates expert understanding of SDLC and Software QA concepts and methodologies.

Deep Systems Knowledge: Understands the technology solution and testing scope to be designed and implemented.

Sales Support: Supports and assists with RFPs and proposals as a QA subject matter expert.

Training: Develops and educates others on Software Quality Assurance methodologies and leading practices. Supports the development and delivery of training in quality matters.

Responsible for directly supervising staff, including interviewing, hiring staff and the termination of staff; recommending salary changes, job promotions; setting work hours, conducting counseling /performance reviews, coaching, and planning of the staff's work. Responsible for ensuring staff comply with all wage and hour regulations . Provides leadership and mentoring to quality assurance staff members.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Work Experience: At least 8 years in Software Quality Assurance in a large, centralized information technology environment with direct work experience in formalized quality assurance methodologies.  Working knowledge of banking and/or financial services industry.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience (Masters a plus)

Practitioner: Must have a strong command of broad and general technical concepts. Knowledge of mobile development and testing a plus.

Leadership Communication: Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must possess an ability to speak and write in plain English about complex technical concepts to ensure a clear understanding by a broad range of business, technical and senior executive stakeholders. Experience in managing on-shore, off-shore, and hybrid teams and internal staff.

Corporate and Team Fit: A team player who collaborates with others and has a positive and collegial attitude. Strong relationship building skills with senior management and client. Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve the company and project goals.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Payroll Processing Supervisor performs moderately complex to complex payroll functions for Union Bank. Job Summary

Reporting to the SVP Senior Group Technology Manager, partners with ITG management team and the Business Unit Executives to provide technology services to enable the business meet their strategic, tactical and operational goals. Major Responsibilities

General Management Duties

Depending on the size of the group supported, may manage a Deputy GTM and one or more Systems Managers responsible for ensuring that the development, maintenance, modifications and implementation of applications programs and services are performed within established time constraints. Provides the technical leadership to support business lines objectives. May review analysis performed by business and systems analysts and subordinate managers to ensure all aspects of the project development phase have been considered. Has broad technical knowledge providing a gateway into the IT organization for the business as necessary. Also has strong business skills, and understands the operation or business being supported. Requires familiarity and compliance with the Bank standard project methodology and guidelines. Collaborates with business unit leadership and project teams for project documentation including a Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) for any infrastructure project work being done in support of the Business Unit. Understands business and technical requirements, and the responsibility for the cost side of the CBA to ensure the project completes with the anticipated internal rate of return. Formulates long-range financial plan proposal for assigned area based on current and anticipated growth rate, staff development, changes affecting Applications Development, overall changes in the future of data processing, etc. Assesses the impact of new application systems, technology, physical location changes and priority changes on contingency plan. Analyzes exposure/risk/vulnerability of applications to the overall success and existence to the Bank. Ensures that applications needed to support the essential needs of the Bank are provided in times of system failure or disaster.

Evaluates incoming service requests and determines priorities with the business unit; assigns and delegates work to subordinate managers. Reviews and approves project plans and monitors work progress. Approves final packages to ensure systems adhere to corporate policies, practices and data processing standards.

Assists subordinates in the long-range strategic plan by defining organizational goals and objectives, identifying the attributes and long-term needs of customer/user groups, evaluating market opportunities and threats, evaluating the capability and long-term viability of information processing equipment and supplies, application systems, data management systems, human resources, etc. Develops short-medium term goals and objectives for staff. Responsible for business user relationship management. Provides advice and/or technical assistance to internal customers on large complex projects with major impact on the Bank. Ensures that applications needed to support the essential needs of the Bank are provided in times of system failure or disaster. Evaluates the effectiveness of the newly implemented automated systems after they have been in the production environment by determining if user's problems or needs have been resolved.
                           

May manage relationships with onshore and offshore contracting and consulting resources. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate software licenses with technology providers.

At least 8 to 10 years direct experience in managing staff or directing system development project team or equivalent combination of education (Advanced degree in Computer Science and work experience in assigned area.) Responsible for the research and analysis of compliance documentation within the BTS vendor pool. Will provide support services to various business groups, both within BTS and throughout the Bank, for all contractual, compliance, and regulatory documentation required as part of the Bank's Vendor Due Diligence Program. This position will support these efforts for all vendors regardless of assigned risk status (high, moderate, low). BTS has a vendor pool of 500 vendors. This position works in a staff capacity, planning, organizing, and directing complex and detailed analytical work in the areas of complex business analysis, compliance research and documentation, and contractual review, analysis, and negotiation. This position will also serve as a back-up to others in the department with respect to reporting, file maintenance, research, etc.

Major Responsibilities:

70%-Responsible for the IT review and assessment of risk for all BTS vendors contracts. Provides subject matter IT expertise in the review of the contracts. Makes recommendations to the Business Unit Management based on the aforementioned risk review. Works independently and directly with the vendor community in order to create and maintain history files on all assigned vendors to include all contracts and required compliance documentation (financials, insurance, business continuity, SAS70, vendor and Bank controls, VRSA's (vendor risk self assessment), exit strategies, compliance regulations, etc.) Makes assessments on IT vendor risk and compliance on all BTS engagements with vendors and various Bank personnel as it relates to the management of the information that is to be collected, analyzed, and managed. The position must be fully versed in all engagements that the Bank enters into with the vendor so that each vendor is adequately managed. Responsible for ensuring all required documentation are collected, reviewed, approved, and passes all future reviews by internal and external examiners. Manages and responds to all audit reviews. Works under the Bank's policies as it relates to Vendor Management, Compliance, Security, etc. as evidenced within ADM 803, all BPM sections, as well as all other Bank policy eManuals that would have an impact on the vendors engagement with the Bank (e.g. DPM as it relates to Payment System vendors).

20%-Research &amp; Analysis: Perform analytic reviews and assessments on all assigned vendors to include: Service level Agreements Spend, Trends, Downtime, Uptime, Maintenance History, Contract Terms and Conditions, pricing. Timeline delivery expectation, etc. and present the results to Business Unit management and all internal and external examiners. Make appropriate recommendations to the BU's based on review and results.

10%- Responsible for the negotiations of contracts for all BTS vendors in conjunction with Contracts Management and the Business Owners. (This will include the legal terms, business case, spend, etc.). Ensure appropriate approvals are obtained and documentation custody is maintained. Document and maintain a history file regarding successful negotiated saves.

Job Summary:

In-house sales associate tasked with supporting complex TM sales execution efforts within an assigned geographical or industry related area. Work in partnership with assigned Treasury Consultant(s) to provide consultative solutions to clients.  This is an entry level sales role. Assist in generating new revenue through the sale of Global Treasury Management products and services to bank prospects and existing clients. Major Responsibilities:

(60%) SALES EXECUTION: Responsible for helping overall Treasury Sales team exceed assigned revenue and sales activity goals. Develop and leverage industry knowledge, as well as treasury systems and operations knowledge, to provide high-level consultative value. Partner with assigned Treasury Consultant(s) on creating appropriate product solutions for clients based on their needs, best practices and regulatory demands. QUALIFICATIONS
Required
* A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is preferred. 
* 5 years of application development experience in Java, Servlets, HTML, JSP, Spring, and Struts.
* 3 years of experience with Java-oriented software development support technologies such as source code management, build control, static code analysis, test coverage, defect tracking, JUnit, Cactus, JavaDoc
* 3 years experience with WebSphere, JBoss
* 4 years experience in SQL writing
* 4 years experience in any RDBMS (Preferably Oracle)
* 3 years of experience with Web Services, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) 
* 2 years of experience in a Unix/Linux environment
* 2 years experience with Eclipse, WSAD and/or JBoss Developer Studio 
* 2 years of experience with Hibernate
* 2 years of experience in Web 2.0 technology (AJAX etc.)
Preferred
· Data warehouse, Informatica or any ETL Tool experience is highly preferred
· UNIX/Linux scripting experience is preferred

Job Summary:
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Union Bank is responsible for leading the Information Technology Group which supports over 10,000 employees and manages all aspects of technology for retail banking, commercial banking and corporate services, including technology operations (help desk, field services, desktop/telephony support, etc.), infrastructure (network, data centers, etc.), software/application engineering, development and delivery, information security, vendor management and technology compliance.
The CTO works with his team to assess the relative impact of existing and emerging technologies for supporting strategic business needs. Directs the overall strategic efforts of business and technology and establishes a future vision as it relates to the enterprise's competitive position. Collaborates with business executives, senior leaders and board members to influence strategic business decisions regarding the use of technology.

Major Responsibilities:
The CTO leads the technology strategic efforts for the enterprise in accordance with the company's goals and objectives to improve the enterprise's competitive position and in collaboration with business leaders and executives that will help influence business decisions regarding the use of technology.

Provides vision, enables innovation and understands the IT trends to create business value by tracking a broad range of emerging technologies to determine their maturity and applicability to the enterprise.

Enterprise wide IT activities include infrastructure and architecture, application development, reengineering business processes, networks, strategic vendor and partner relationships, outsourcing, and computer and auxiliary operations and support. Oversees the development of enterprise standards, technology architecture and IT governance process. 

Participates in and drives the technical aspects of strategic decisions regarding IT. Implements and manages those initiatives with complete autonomy making decisions for the organization based on the highest degree of technical complexity and through understanding of the far-reaching implications across the IT organization.

Overall technology responsibility for all aspects of the enterprise's day-to-day operations to ensure systems performance, availability and service level requirements are met. This includes the establishment of IT continuous improvement programs to assure customer experience satisfaction.

Provides leadership across the organization that drives business objectives, promotes the companies culture, and inspires and encourages employee development and engagement.
Additional Information:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.

Typically has 15 or more years of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations, with 5 to 7 years of leadership experience in managing multiple, large cross functional teams or projects, and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders.



Reports to the Chief Information and Operations Officer.

This position will oversee approximately 700 employees through 7 direct reports with responsibility for an operating budget of over $249 Million and an annual capital budget of over $45 Million.
