The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Summary

The opportunity is for an experienced and delivery-focused individual to support and work with the Chief Information Officer

  • liaising the various entities for Regulatory matters

  • Help manage the technology portfolio

  • Help drive delivery strategy and transformation

  • Help manage Technology Cost

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate among relevant stakeholders such as CUSO, MUS International and MUSHD in terms of the matter of regulators

  • Plan MUSA IT strategy with MUSA CIO and relevant stakeholders

  • Support MUSA CIO in terms of obtaining resources and manage IT cost

  • Any other support for MUSA CIO

Skills & Experience

  • Seasoned manager with extensive delivery expertise across a Corporate & Investment Banking platform.

  • A proven track record of strategy development and execution within the financial services industry

  • A proven track record in project and portfolio management

  • Must have strong business and financial acumen and be comfortable dealing with complex financial analysis and concepts. Intellectually sharp, capable, and agile. A problem-solver who relies on facts and data to drive decisions

  • Results oriented, exhibits passion for excellence and drives results; conveys a sense of urgency and has the energy to drive issues to closure. Someone who persists despite obstacles and opposition; exercises strong self-discipline and shows flexibility in the pursuit of a central goal, despite competing and sometimes conflicting influences

  • A leader who can translate overarching goals into specific objectives and motivate and encourage others to execute at the highest level. An executive who communicates excellence and excitement through his/her actions. An effective negotiator who can get to a win-win conclusion

  • Ability to communicate, through both written and verbal means, to a broad variety of audiences. Build consensus in a working group and successfully coordinate and manage persons outside of his/her direct sphere of influence. Interact with senior leaders in both the business units and executive management and be able to represent the company with senior-level external constituents.

  • Solid history of academic and professional achievement

  • A minimum of 15-20 years of related business experience with a strong track record of achievement

Soft skills

  • Evidence strong leadership qualities and ability to inspire and evangelize change.

  • Strong enthusiasm relating to Digital Transformation technologies and technological reform

  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to influence decision-making process and build consensus. Ability to demonstrate strong and independent decision making skills.

  • Have a proven ability to develop and promote talent and bolster the abilities of team members through feedback and guidance

  • Resilient under pressure and self-motivated in a fast paced and demanding environment

  • A keen interest in Environmental, Social and Governance matters

  • Passionate about developing a work environment that embraces and values diversity.

  • Ability and willingness to operate at both a strategic and practical level

  • Embody a strategic approach to delivery, with the ability to articulate and implement vision/strategy.

  • Effective conflict management with ability to de-escalate disagreements and orchestrate resolutions.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $175K - $220K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
