Job Summary:
Work with Senior Financial Advisors and Financial Advisors to sell various investment vehicles including Governments, Agencies, Municipal, Mutual Funds, UITs, Stocks, Corporate Bonds, Equities, Annuities, Brokered CD's and fee based investment products. Assist customers in realizing their investments while also producing fee income for the Bank, cross-sell other investment and bank products to existing customer base, and develop new business through customer referrals and working with banking partners and clients.
Major Responsibilities:
Work with Senior Financial Advisor to sell various investment vehicles to customers of Union Bank of California.
Place investment transactions with the appropriate market makers according to established UBIS policies. Provide customers with current market information regarding bid & ask prices, PE information, volume trends, and market updates and assist with all types of customer servicing.
Provide and interpret financial market's information and with specialized knowledge assist
customers with their investment decision-making process.
Cross-sell various investment products to existing customers in order to maximize penetration of customer base and to meet the investment needs of the Bank's clients
Solicit new customers by asking for referrals from the branch network and from existing customer base. Educate new customers and prospects on applicable product offerings.
Additional Information:
Requires NASD Licensed Series 7, 66 and 63 in addition to technical work related experience from zero to
two years.
This position is an entry level SIS SR. Position receives a base salary (not a draw) and is assigned to a SIS.
