Manage a large portfolio of complex credit relationships focused on companies located in Alameda, Contra Costa and Solano counties. Developing significant new business (both credit and cross-sell) and building strong relationships with referral sources, such as CPA, Investment Banking and Law Firms. Will underwrite and structure credits jointly with Credit Executive. Will act as lead negotiator and "quarterback" with prospects & customers. Responsible for the growth of income derived from the assigned portfolio. Growth income is expected via loan fees, syndication fees, international income and interest income. Experienced in calling on large public and private companies.
10 years Commercial Lending. BA/BS degree. PC software: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Lotus Notes. Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills. Proficient credit underwriting and structuring skills. Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated successes at new business development and income generation. Ability to manage difficult relationships with skill. Must be able to work in a team environment in sourcing and closing new deals. Proven consultative selling skills to sophisticated financial buyers focusing on proper capital structure options a customer or client could choose. Must have organized prospect targeting and pre-call planning skills. Generalist credit underwriting and capital markets exp. is essential. Consistent portfolio monitoring and proven history successfully handling companies experiencing credit deterioration, adhering to the Bank's credit policy and utilizing the Bank's credit mgmt tools.
