Job Summary:
Develops and manages comprehensive financial relationships within affluent upper tier of high network individuals in the assigned geographic area.
This is a professional entry level position and should be able to provide support and handle a small portfolio of $750MM in profitability.

Major Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying qualified potential clients. Initiate contacts, assesses needs, presents array of products and services, and closes sales.
Responsible for the management, growth and profitability of small portfolio in the unit. Advise and consult with clients to maximize their relationship with The Private Bank to include Deposit, Credit and Investments. Responsible for assisting and analyzing clients' credit needs and then making appropriate recommendations.

Under the direction of senior staff, assist in developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies to establish a profitable portfolio, utilizing both external and internal resources.

Assist in implementing the program for The Private Bank within the target area through an annual marketing plan and strategy, tailored to region locale and consistent with overall direction of The Private Bank. Assist in planning to expand the portfolio and ensure retention of profitable clients.
Detail specific actions to cross-sell, establish referral program to develop new client business, and increase non-interest income to office.
Engage in regularly scheduled portfolio performance review with manager to assess performance against set goals. Meet or exceed these goals.

Relationship and Portfolio Management: Act as consultative banker, anticipating needs relative to affluent market segment to ensure maximum profitability and cross-sell opportunities are met. Maintain client portfolio with assistance from Banking Associate. Adjust portfolio size to accommodate the demands of servicing prime clients. Stand accountable for portfolio growth and profitability, as well as any attrition. Using EBS reports and available pricing models, monitor each client's account profitability and service use. Consult with clients as to various services or product needs which would be advantageous for them and keep them aware of new products and of changes in the financial area which would affect them. Regularly introduce clients to other areas of the Bank for special needs. Respond to problems clients may experience with the handling of their account and ensure proper handling of service requests. Ensure accurate and complete records are kept for each client relationship. Develop relationship banking through a consultative approach. Based upon clients' needs, provide various options considering tax implications, estate planning, risk tolerance levels and refer to appropriate specialists as needed. Segment portfolio through profitability and tiers to maximize efficiency in developing client relationships.

Risk Management: Analyze and respond to the needs of the affluent client, balancing risk and opportunity. Analyze client's personal credit needs and requests. Qualify borrower, recommend best suited loan product commensurate with Bank's desired profit margin and the value of the clients total relationship. Prepare credit write-up analyzing financial condition of borrower. Determine the loan structure best suited for the client within the credit requirements for the Bank. Negotiate with the client to reach terms which will accommodate their needs and be profitable to the Bank. Make recommendations to senior officers of the Bank on loans which exceed designated loan authority. Monitor and manage portfolio to assess and minimize risk as it relates to credit and follow up with appropriate measures adhering to Bank's policy and guidelines. This position may be subject to SAFE Act Registration Requirements. Job Summary

Responsible for managing relationship managers and support staff in the real estate group. These relationship managers solicit, develop, direct and manage credit relations with primarily top tier real estate developers seeking interim construction and real estate development financing. Solicit, direct and coordinate the expansion of customer relationships through cross-selling of banking services. Serve in a management capacity overseeing all aspects of a regional office.

Major Responsibilities

Managing the origination, analysis, negotiation structures, preparation, and presentation of loans of moderate to high levels of complexity involving risk and analysis for high-value clients.

Direct and manage the evaluation process of an applicant's credit needs, financial strength, abilities and other background information to determine if a loan is an acceptable risk.

Lead the coordination and direct the underwriting of loans and terms for the purpose of making recommendations to Credit.

Assist in dealing directly with customers; serve as one of the primary contacts representing the Bank with critical or complex clients, as well as those clients working with Management or other Senior Loan Officers.

Take a partnering and lead role in retaining and expanding all accounts through the development of strong business relationships and the cross-selling of Bank products.

Job Summary
Conduct complex financial and tax accounting activities. Analyze and provide technical interpretation of accounting and income tax law changes specifically in the affordable housing industry (i.e. IRC 42, 45D, 47). Research and monitor tax projections to ensure data integrity. Work with management toward specific financial objectives. 

Major Responsibilities
Take charge of the complete tax reporting process for the CDF Equity Investment Portfolio and the Tax Credit Syndication Portfolio. Assume a lead role in equity pricing and validate the tax assumptions used in the projections. Provide timely and accurate tax basis financial forecast to investors. Review and analyze the annual audited financial statements and tax returns for all of the direct-owned and syndicated tax credit investments to ensure compliance with IRS, tax credit statutes and regulations. Work with legal counsel, real estate developers, and financial consultants to develop early exit strategies which yield optimal financial results. Assist in responding to federal and state tax inquiries. Work with external CPAs to prepare the syndication fund accounting packages for outside investors. 

This position typically requires a BS / BA degree in Accounting or Tax and a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of partnership &amp; limited liability company tax returns is a must. Knowledge of tax credit affordable housing industry is a big plus. CPA certification in California is preferred.
